The brand-name manufacturers advertise cheap computers for $299 to $499. But don't be fooled. By the time they've talked you into adding enough memory, hard drive space, and processor power to handle modern application and storage requirements, plus purchase a real warranty, anti-virus software, and basic productivity software, you'll easily double that price.

At FlexITechs, we don't lure you with a cheap price and then try to switch you over to the computer you actually need. Whether you want a desktop computer for the Internet and email, to share photos with friends and family, to play the latest 3D games, or to run your home-based business, we'll build a computer system designed to handle the tasks you want to perform.

We also provide a one-year service contract for any issue related to your new computer, including minor training (i.e., how do I print mailing labels, how do I create an email mailing list, etc.) after the sale, thereby eliminating those aggravating overseas tech support calls.

At a minimum, our desktop computers include the following components:

Motherboard/CPU:
For these two critical components, we use high-quality Asus® motherboards and Intel® Core Duo or AMD® Athlon 64-bit processors, all with 3-year warranties.

Memory and OS:
We install a minimum of 1GB of memory, which will not only easily run the Windows XP® Home or Pro operating systems, also handle Microsoft's new Vista operating system if you're ready to make that move.

Hard Drive:
We install a high quality Seagate® SATA hard drive with a minimum of 80GB of storage, plenty for all but the most intense video and graphics enthusiasts. Plus, the Seagate® drive is the only drive in the industry with a 5-year warranty.

CD/DVD Drive:
Because of advances in media, we also install a combo CD-RW/DVD-RW drive, allowing you to not only play and burn CDs, but also play and burn DVDs.

Peripherals:
We can put together a package of peripherals -- flat-panel monitors, printers, cameras, scanners, etc. -- from the top names in the business: Epson® Canon®, Hewlett-Packard, to name a few.

Software:
With each FlexiDesk computer, we install the appropriate software for the tasks you want to perform, from the simple Microsoft Works productivity suite to a full-blown Microsoft Office suite to multi-media bundles.
